Meet Your Guide

Raised just north of Columbus, Mason has been guiding upland and waterfowl hunts since the age of 14 and has built a lifelong passion for bird hunting and the outdoors. Now owner of Top Flight, he is dedicated to creating memorable hunting experiences alongside his loyal chessie, Waylon.

Having grown up hunting and fishing on the Brazos river bottom, he brings years of experience to Top Flight, where he has been a team member since 2020. His approach to every hunt is simple: be safe, have fun, and don't miss.

Born and raised in Columbus, Taylor brings a hometown feel to each hunt with him and his talented dogs. Taylor particularly enjoys youth/parent hunts and promoting the heritage of hunting with family, as he spends most of his time away from Top Flight in the field working family gun dogs with his wife and two children,

Originally from Maine and Massachusetts, Aidan developed a passion for the outdoors after he began hunting upland birds and waterfowl at 15. He moved to Texas in 2024 and joined Top Flight in 2025 alongside his black lab, Marty. Aidan is dedicated to helping newcomers discover the enjoyment and tradition of hunting that first inspired him.

Owner and operator of Neumann Farm Services and Take 'Em Retrievers. He lives in Bellville, Tx, with his wife and daughter and has a passion for working dogs, especially bird dogs. 

Mike Mccutcheon began guiding waterfowl hunts in 1979. He has also been an upland hunter most of his life and an upland guide for a decade. He owns Harvest Moon Kennels in Columbus, Texas where he raises and trains top performing sporting dogs.
